Our Mom is a homemaker first and a cakemaker second. Yet, she was able to conceptualize grandious cakes & handmake each of the hundreds, sometimes thousands of sugar flowers, bake, and decorate cakes in her spare time. Guess who were her little helpers?

CAKE FLAVORS

CAKE FLAVORS We have a range of flavors to choose from, chiffon cake being the most popular and carrot cake the most preferred for fondant covered cakes.

FONDANT

Fondant is the gummy covering of the cake, in place of the regular soft and light eggwhite frosting. It is like soft pie crust which you roll out and carefully lift to cover the cake. Only "heavy" cakes such as carrot walnut and other similar cakes can handle fondant well.

AN ALTERNATIVE TO FONDANT

The fineness of fondant and the rich cake in it comes with a price. It also doesn't work well when it rains and in wet atmosphere. Realizing the limitations of fondant in our setting, we have come up with an alternative - making the regular eggwhite frosting look like fondant. It is simply applying the icing very slowly, lightly, patiently. Although it cannot copy fondant a hundred per cent, semi-fondant/fondant look-alike cakes can very efficiently replace fondant covered cakes.

BUDGET

We can work around your budget or your given price range. We can compromise with size but never with the cake's design.

APPOINTMENTS

APPOINTMENTS. Please do call for an appointment. We are more likely to be free during Mondays - Wednesdays and prefer to dedicate Thursdays - Sundays to preparations and work for the cakes in the weekend.

VISIT OUR LITTLE STORE .We are happy to announce that you can now place your orders at our store in Lapaz - it's just beside the exit gate of St. Clement's Church. We are neighbors with Deocampo's, Fun Stuff (party needs supplier) and RMN Radio Station. Come and visit us.

While you're there, try our finer version of the Ilonggo favorites - the BISCOCHO , and the GARLIC TOAST. The CHEESE CUPCAKE, too - our Mom's own recipe.

As to cakes ready to take home, we have limited it to just a few because we still prefer to deliver it to you freshly baked. Call us at (033) 508-6883 for orders. :)

The most convenient way is when you book your wedding at Hotel del Rio ( http://www.hoteldelrio.net/ ). We have been doing the cakes for their wedding package for over twenty years. We can do customized cakes for an additional charge.



SUNDAYS OFF

This 2012, we are changing our schedule a bit - we are taking Sundays off - so our staff (and us,too) can spend quality time with their families and go to church together ( and us, too).

WE ARE ALSO LIMITING OUR CAKE ORDERS PER DAY SO WE CAN CONCENTRATE MORE ON EACH CAKE . SO PLEASE ORDER WAY AHEAD SO WE CAN BOOK YOU EARLY.

DELIVERIES OUTSIDE ILOILO

Due to so unpredictable weather, we are going easy on deliveries outside Iloilo City. We will assist you, though, in making sure you transport the cake in the safest, " cake accident" proof way possible
