AN ALTERNATIVE TO FONDANT
The fineness of fondant and the rich cake in it comes with a price. It also doesn't work well when it rains and in wet atmosphere. Realizing the limitations of fondant in our setting, we have come up with an alternative - making the regular eggwhite frosting look like fondant. It is simply applying the icing very slowly, lightly, patiently. Although it cannot copy fondant a hundred per cent, semi-fondant/fondant look-alike cakes can very efficiently replace fondant covered cakes.
