We get so much fulfillment when doing cakes that are meaningful to the celebrant and her/his family and friends. We ask how the celebrant looks like, how they dress, even how their ka-quorum look like (;)). The gumpaste characters may not look so perfect, but after a few laughs, camaraderie and bonding, the cake has served it's purpose other than it being a (really good, delicious) cake to eat. :)
